چکیده
Background: Fibroids are the most common benign pelvic tumors affecting about 20% of women above 35 years age. The diverse symptomatology fibroids can be attributed to size, number and location tumors. symptoms include menorrhagia, infertility, abdominal mass pressure effects. Objective: To compare efficacy tranexamic acid ethamsylate versus IV oxytocin infusion in reducing blood loss during myomectomy. Patients Methods: This study involved ninety undergoing myomectomy for symptomatic uterine myoma divided randomly into three equal groups: Group A (Tranexamic group) received 1 g (2 ampoules kapron 500 mg) (1 ampoule dicynone) just before skin incision, B (Oxytocin 30 IU ml normal saline will administered myomectomy, C (Saline 110 incision. was conducted Sayed Galal Al-Azhar University Hospital El-Galaa Teaching period time from December 2018 2019. Results: Using dicynone resulted a significant reduction than using immediately start surgery (509.24±57.28 Tranexamic group vs. 720.13±112.62 group). Conclusion: more effective transfusion requirement with stable hematological hemodynamic profile.

Background: Blood loss during and immediately after total knee arthroplasty (TKA) is among the most challenging concerns. It has been demonstrated that Tranexamic acid (TXA) can help to reduce perioperative blood loss. TXA can be used as an oral, topical or intravenous injection. Many studies evaluated the effectiveness of each route of administration but few works on a comparison between them....
